Krokos Ortigia Apartment consists of a bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower on the 1st floor. A double sofa bed, a dining area with equipped kitchen, and a bathroom are located on the lower floor and it is therefore possible to comfortably accommodate up to 4 people.
All areas are equipped with independent air conditioning.It is also possible to take advantage of a wonderful and exclusive terrace, equipped with deckchairs, umbrella and garden furniture.
The Graziella neighborhood is the part of the island of Ortigia that is often unknown by tourists, which extends between narrow alleys full of folklore and stories of guardians of a Syracuse made up of fishermen, merchants and travellers. Here, where the small fishermen’s houses seem to touch each other, you can still smell the scent of typical Sicilian cuisine and spices coming out of the windows. The narrow and winding alleys that start from the sea cross the ancient and historic market of Ortigia among stalls of colorful fish, fruit, spices and 1000 other delicacies that await travelers at any time.
Ortigia can easily be visited by walk, after crossing the bridge and parking the car, you can easily visit the entire island walking.
The island of Ortigia is a limited traffic zone (ZTL) at certain times and days of the week.
Access to the island is limited by gates, the first of which is located on the bridge that connects the island to the mainland.
All our guests will be able to have (upon request) authorization to access the ZTL (limited traffic area).
It is possible to park both in free spaces (subject to availability) and in paid parking. From the car parks it is possible to reach the apartment by walk in a few minutes.
To park on the island, just 150 meters from our accommodation, there is the largest paid municipal car park: Talete Parking which allows you to use hourly, daily rates or weekly passes. To pay for the Talete car park you can use the following methods:
– by the Easy Park App, using the code 1205
– by ticket machine located inside the car park.
